100% College Acceptance for BwCF 2009 High School Graduates!
All BwCF 2009 High School Graduates have gained admission to at least two colleges or universities this Fall. In bright blue caps and gowns, 85 students culminated their educational experiences at BwCF Schools this past week. The BwCF Alumni Program inducted the new graduates at the ceremony with BwCF lapel pins to symbolize their membership in the program. Visit our news section to read more.  
 
CPCS Math Partnership wins Barclays Capital Chairman's Award

Students Reach New Heights On State Math Test

      Founded in 1989 by Joe and Carol Reich, the Beginning with Children Foundation (BwCF) advocates for high academic standards and accountability in public education to ensure that low-income, historically underserved children receive the quality education they deserve. BwCF schools provide students with 3 R's-a Rich curriculum upholding Rigorous standards that produces powerful Results.The Foundation is the institutional partner to two charter schools in Brooklyn-Beginning with Children Charter School (BwCCS) and Community Partnership Charter School (CPCS). Both schools provide responsive, nurturing and challenging academic environments for the children and communities they serve. We are closing the achievement gap that divides minority children in non-affluent communities from their more affluent peers by supporting the development of projects and programs that use best practices in teaching, learning and organizational design to foster high academic achievement.
