Our 2007 Summer interns took a trip to Ellis Island, the Immigration Museum and the Statue of Liberty as part of our Friday Summer Workshop Series.

The Alumni Summer Internship Program is a wonderful career-building opportunity available to graduates of Beginning with Children Charter School.  The program is competitive; alumni must fill out a detailed application to be considered, which is sent out in March, and there are 20 spots available for rising Juniors and Seniors.

The program places students in a variety of work environments based on their interests and qualifications.  Participants work four days a week.  On Fridays, students regroup to discuss their experiences and take trips around the city that are focused on career development, college preparation, and group bonding.
