Providing Pathways to Success

Beginning with Children Foundation supports rich educational programs that challenge students' ambitions and connect learning to the world outside of the classroom. Our students have the knowledge, drive and ideals to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.

Our charter schools-- Beginning with Children Charter School and Community Partnership Charter School - offer personalized instruction that address the individual needs of students. We use ongoing assessment to monitor every child's progress and adjust the curriculum as needed to ensure the mastery of important skills. We teach students to work together and persevere through challenges with integrity and compassion.

Our schools provide numerous enrichment opportunities including ballet, chess, music and instrumental instruction as well as after-school sports. Our community partners include Chess in Schools, American Ballet Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, CAMBA, The Pratt Institute of Art and Learning Leaders.

For graduates of our schools, BwCF offers an Alumni Program, which provides mentoring, tutoring, career networking and college readiness training. In addition to supporting our graduates during their high school years, we provide services to alumni as they transition to college. We help our alumni develop the skills necessary to succeed and graduate from college.
